cabin life, Cortina style

Sunday in Cortina, appreciating (to understate the fact) and embracing the life of expats, experiencing life with locals. A mountain cabin, in the family for decades, was the backdrop for a fantastic afternoon of amazing food, wine and September sunshine.  Wish I would have taken my camera out of my bag sooner to capture the laughter, perfectly cooked filet, aperitifs and camaraderie,  but I did manage to capture some of the natural beauty.  One of those surreal days that are filled with thoughts of gratitude and pure delight;)
