these days…

adventuring, exploring, traveling, marveling at the wonders of the dolomites…  we’re back in Italy and finally had a good night sleep and a day of no work for Clay.  while our expat life is nothing short of exciting, the truth of the matter is that I adore these quiet family days that seem so much harder to come by in canada.  on sundays, the shops are closed.  a small but significant thing in my world.  a day where you can’t, even if you wanted to, run around like a crazy person doing errands, getting groceries, picking up small things that we don’t really need, or big things that we just can’t seem to go without for another day.  nope, just walking.  being outside.  with loved ones.
